Finally Reunited

Although Mariel and I live in different cities and it is hard to see each other as often as we please, we still manage to bring out the Polydeux whenever we can. Finally back together, Mariel and I seized the moment and took advantage of the beautiful ambiance around us. 

Since I was going for a more casual look, I paired this laced maxi dress with my favorite denim shirt. The touch of the denim shirt dressed down my outfit, without making it look sloppy.

Mariel decided to get a little creative with her outfit and DIY’ed a table cloth into her very own skirt! She paired this with what appears to be a cute, sheer top, but what actually is lingerie. I feel like her outfit was completed by the colours and patterns of her cape. It made her outfit as a whole pop.

On another note, Autumn is finally here and I am ready to layer, layer, layer! Get ready for scarves, sweaters, boots, and all the pumpkin spice lattes you can drink. Though the weather here still feels as if it was summer, I cannot contain my excitment for this beautiful season. What is your must have item for the fall?
