Coachella-fied

Concho hat and flannel via Forever 21 // Cutout booties via Charlotte Russe

At this point, I really wonder if you guys have noticed my affinity for dresses. There's something effortless and easy about styling one piece items than coordinating pant to shirt, especially when it comes to this babydoll dress from Nasty Gal. I'm so in love with the angelic aura it exudes when on. Let's talk about that texture juxtaposition porn too! Not to mention, those unique straps. Either I'm wearing it wrong or I'm starting a new trend; regardless, I think its simplicity accents the material well.

Going to Coachella but don't want to look too dressed up? Throw on these quintessential pieces that every bohemian princess stores on her altar.

1.) Concho Hat? Check. It keeps your hair in place, protects you from the sun and changes the entire feel of your outfit from Western to well--not-so-Western

2.) Throwing something as casual as a flannel on top of this potentially formal dress creates a smooth contrast between the two and gives you a more relaxed silhouette now that you actually have a waistline!

3.) I think heels are a necessity to lengthen your legs, especially in such a forgiving dress, but that's the last thing you'd think about wearing to the desert. Pop on the offspring of heel and boot with some cutout booties to give your lady hooves some air to breathe while still giving you some height.

Comment below and let me know if you're going to any music festivals or how you would tone down this outfit to make it festival appropriate!
